Lector
Nurhan Abujidi is sinds 2016 lector bij Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, waar zij het lectoraat Smart Urban Redesign leidt. Als architect en stedelijk onderzoeker richt zij zich op rechtvaardige en duurzame stedelijke transities, met bijzondere aandacht voor sociaal-ruimtelijke ongelijkheid, circulariteit en co-creatie. Ze verbindt onderwijs, praktijk en onderzoek op een innovatieve manier en werkt nauw samen met publieke en private partners aan vraagstukken rond leefbaarheid en de kwaliteit van de gebouwde omgeving. Naast haar werk als lector is zij medeoprichter van het European Center for Circular Building Transformation (ECCBT) en actief binnen regionale, nationale en internationale netwerken die zich inzetten voor de circulaire en inclusieve transitie van steden.
