Wendy Broers
Wendy Broers (1975) behaalde in 2000 een MSc in Architecture, Building and Planning aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, met een specialisatie in duurzame bouwtechnologie. Sinds 2008 is zij verbonden aan Zuyd Hogeschool, waar zij als senior onderzoeker en docent betrokken is bij diverse lectoraten binnen het domein Techniek. Sinds 2016 maakt zij deel uit van het lectoraat Smart Urban Redesign, met focus op energietransitie, circulair bouwen en innovatie in de gebouwde omgeving. In 2023 promoveerde zij aan de Universiteit Maastricht op onderzoek naar besluitvorming van woningeigenaren bij duurzame renovaties. Zij was betrokken bij talrijke (inter)nationale projecten, waaronder LIFE Buildupspeed, H2020 Drive 0, Interreg Modlar, MOOI Sfeer en TKI Treco Home.
