After various supporting positions in healthcare and business Ellis Heinrichs started at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in 2008. Over the years she has worked in different departments and positions. First she worked as a management assistant for the Executive Board. Afterwards she had various tasks in policy support and IT in the Healthcare and Welfare domain. In 2024 she started as a policy support officer at the Smart Urban Redesign Lectorate. She also works for the Zuyd Bestuursdiensten where she support the legal affairs department among other things.
